NEWARK, NJ 6/27/08 11:20:00 AM (From the news blog – Two Newark women were shot, one fatally, outside a house in the North Ward early this morning, police said.Family members at the scene told ABC Channel 7 Eyewitness News that the dead girl, Sujeidi Ocasio, 18, graduated Thursday from Barringer High School and was at the house celebrating with other classmates when the shooting erupted.Neither the identity of the other victim nor the shooter were immediately available.The shooter, another female, fled after the 12:17 a.m. incident outside 196 Lincoln Ave. and was still at large, said Detective Todd McClendon, a police department spokesman.Both women were reportedly shot in the head.McClendon said the victims were rushed to the trauma center at University Hospital where one died and the other remains in serious condition..)
